Regional Steel Opportunities | Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Surrounding Markets
Company: Trophy Trucking Services LLC
Operating area: Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, and surrounding NJ/PA markets
Freight: Steel coils and other steel products
Operating model: Direct asset-carrier operation, subject to Trophy qualification and onboarding
Trophy Trucking Services is building qualified owner-operator capacity for a regional steel transportation program serving customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and selected surrounding markets.
We are looking for experienced flatbed operators who can handle steel freight safely, meet demanding shipping schedules, and provide reliable service on short-haul and regional routes.
Freight and Operating Profile
Steel loads weighing approximately 46,000 pounds, with up to five coils per load, subject to the specific shipment.
Predominantly regional lanes from Fairless Hills, PA, to destinations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Many local lanes are under 80 miles; occasional longer movements to Connecticut and New Hampshire may be available.
No drop-and-hook operation.
Loading and receiving schedules vary by facility and appointment.
Initial customer capacity discussions have centered on approximately 10–20 loads per week, subject to freight releases, equipment availability, and service performance. This is a target, not a guaranteed minimum.
Required Qualifications
Owner-operator with a road-ready tractor.
Flatbed or Conestoga trailer capability compatible with the assigned steel freight.
Demonstrated experience hauling steel coils or comparable heavy steel products.
Appropriate coil securement equipment and knowledge of safe loading, securement, and transportation practices.
Valid CDL-A, acceptable safety history, and ability to meet Trophy’s onboarding and operating requirements.
Dependable communication and the ability to meet early loading appointments and changing receiver schedules.
Trailer availability, lease-on terms, lane assignments, fuel-surcharge treatment, accessorials, and deductions will be reviewed before onboarding.
The shipper does not offer drop-and-hook or trailer storage at the Fairless Hills facility. Operators must follow site instructions and promptly clear the facility after loading or unloading.
