Pay: $28.00–$32.00 per hour

Ranger Inc. is a small, family-owned trucking company with more than 30 years in business. We are looking for a dependable Class A CDL driver with a HazMat endorsement to join our team full-time.

This position primarily involves transporting transformers, electrical equipment, and other specialized loads using flatbed and related equipment. This is not fuel-hauling or tanker work. Familiarity with flatbed hauling and load securement is helpful, but we’re willing to train an experienced Class A driver in the specialized aspects of the position.

Position Details

• Full-time, approximately 40–50 hours per week
• Mostly daytime work
• Mostly local and regional work
• Home most nights
• Hourly pay based on experience
• Stable position with a small, experienced team
• Paid training

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current HazMat endorsement
• Clean driving record
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable securing and transporting equipment and specialized loads
• Good communication with dispatch and customers
• Willingness to learn specialized hauling procedures
• Ability to pass required drug testing and background screening

Helpful Experience

• Flatbeds

• Double-drop or specialized trailers
• Heavy equipment or industrial hauling
• Transformer or electrical-equipment transportation
• Prior specialized hauling experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train a qualified Class A
• driver who has a strong driving foundation, good judgment, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport loads to customer locations
• Properly secure loads and verify load contents
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
• Obtain delivery documentation and signatures
• Communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, or equipment issues
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
