Atlantic Cargo Co. is looking for experienced CDL-A OTR Team Drivers who are ready to put in the miles, keep the wheels turning, and build a long-term relationship with a company that values reliable drivers.

We’re an independent contractor opportunity operating throughout the 48 contiguous states, with a strong focus on coast-to-coast southern freight.

We offer three compensation options, so you can choose the structure that best fits your goals.

– OPTION 1 — $2,200 GUARANTEED PER DRIVER
$2,200 guaranteed per driver
Covers up to 6,000 team miles per week
Earn an additional $0.80 per team mile for every team mile over 6,000
That’s $4,400 guaranteed combined for a two-driver team for up to 6,000 team miles, before applicable deductions and subject to the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.

– OPTION 2 — $0.85 PER TEAM MILE
$0.85 per team mile, split
Applies to loaded AND empty miles
More miles = more earning potential

Estimated weekly earnings:

6,000 miles = $2,500 per driver
6,500 miles = $2,700 per driver
7,000 miles = $2,900 per driver

THE RUN

48 STATES. COAST-TO-COAST FREIGHT. LOTS OF ROAD.
Atlantic Cargo operates throughout the 48 contiguous states, with primarily coast-to-coast southern freight.

You’ll primarily be hauling:

Mail
Clothing
General cargo

The majority of the freight is drop-and-hook, helping keep you moving and reducing the amount of time spent waiting around for live loading and unloading.

There will be occasional live loads, but our freight operation is primarily designed around keeping the truck moving.

THE SCHEDULE
4 WEEKS OUT → 5 DAYS HOME
This position is built for drivers who are comfortable with OTR life and want to maximize their time on the road.

Run hard for 4 weeks, then get 5 days off.

If you’re looking for an OTR schedule that allows you to focus on driving while having a defined home-time cycle, this may be a great fit.

YOUR TRUCK
You’ll be assigned a late-model Freightliner Cascadia equipped with:

Refrigerator
Microwave
Inverter
PrePass

Your truck is set up to make life on the road more comfortable and convenient.

24/7 DISPATCH SUPPORT
You’re never completely on your own out there.

Our team provides 24/7 dispatch support to help keep operations moving and provide assistance when you need it.

Whether you’re running across the country in the middle of the night or need operational support during the day, our dispatch team is available around the clock.

WEEKLY PAY
No waiting around for payday. Weekly settlements are paid by direct deposit every Wednesday.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, allowing you to operate as an independent contractor under the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.

BREAKDOWN SUPPORT
Things happen on the road. When they do, we don’t want you worrying about everything by yourself.

Eligible contractors receive:

$100 per day per contractor for breakdowns
Plus:

Hotel accommodations when applicable

OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Occupational Accident Insurance is available with a:

$49 weekly deduction

 ESCROW
An escrow of $1,000 is collected through:

4 weekly deductions of $250

The escrow is refundable in accordance with the Independent Contractor Agreement, including the applicable 2-week notice of resignation requirement.

✈️ GOOD NEWS FOR OUT-OF-STATE DRIVERS
Atlantic Cargo will reimburse 50% of approved travel expenses on your first check.

To be considered, you must have:

✔️ A valid CDL-A
✔️ At least 6 months of verifiable OTR CDL-A experience
✔️ The ability and willingness to operate throughout the 48 contiguous states
✔️ The ability to commit to the 4 weeks on / 5 days off schedule
✔️ The ability to operate as an independent contractor under the company’s agreement
